Does EasyViz™ come with telemedicine functionality?

EasyViz comes with built-in features for telemedicine and tele-collaboration. This allows clinicians to easily get second opinions and share expertise - within the same hospital, across regions, and around the globe.

Because telemedicine and tele-collaboration features are integral parts of EasyViz, there is no need to transfer data or switch to another application in order to collaborate with a colleague.

For telemedicine, a clinician simply uses the EasyViz system to access data that reside at a remote location. For example, permission could be given to an expert that is located in another part of the country to access a special case locally in order to provide a second opinion.

For tele-collaboration, two EasyViz sessions are simply linked together, and via adaptive streaming both clinicians can then work on the same examination or case in real time. Both clinicians are able to manipulate examinations, highlight areas of interest, and see the consequences of each other’s actions and inputs.
